I did this portrait of my (now ex-) boyfriend. I spent about seven hours painting this in Photoshop. I feel like this is the most successful portrait I've ever painted. I was trying to capture a realistic quality as well as a moment of happiness. Photo reference used.

With all my portraits I try to capture a little bit of the personality behind the subject I am painting.

These three are a few of my friends from Biola University. This qualifies as another Birthday portrait...even though it took me several months to get it to this point. I'm still considering this a WIP because every time I look at it I find things that need fixing.
